PRICING

Our pricing is based on a flat truck & equipment fee & our hourly rate.  A one hour minimum applies.

When you need to move furniture, sometimes you can't do it alone. Heavy items can not only be a problem to move because of space in your vehicle, but they can also cause pain and even injury if you don't have the proper equipment or enough people to help you out.  Two Marines & A Truck's movers are specially trained to deal with very heavy objects. Heavy items should be taken care of properly and when you choose us, you'll know that your items will be safe as they make it to their new destination.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.   How do you protect my furniture?
A.   We are not just the muscles behind your move, we are also the moving professionals responsible for SAFELY getting your item to        its destination.  All of our trucks come equipped with the appropriate plastic-wrap, moving blankets, and tools to ensure that item gets home without any scratches, nicks, or splits.

Q.   What service area is your pricing based on?
A.   The rates are effective for a 20 mile move one-way within the D.C metro area.  Please call for a free quote if your service area is outside of   this radius.

Q.  Please tell me if you take furniture apart and put it back together when moved (ie. beds, dressers)?
A. Yes, our moving staff will disassemble and reassemble any furniture items you specify.
as necessary, and

Q.  Should I tip the movers?
A.  Tips are not expected, but are always appreciated.  Think of tipping a mover, much like tipping a waiter.  Depending on your means ( we know the economy isn't the best right now)  and level of satisfaction, a total tip of 10% to 20% is a nice bonus after all that hard work.
